1. UCLA XR Initiative Spring Summit

Join UCLA’s XR Initiative for an in-person gathering focused on extended reality (XR) technologies, exploring content regulation, AI integration, and practical applications in diverse fields. There will be opportunities for attendees to engage with experts as they discuss challenges and potentials while presenting impactful XR experiences. The keynote speaker will showcase how emerging technology is being used to cultivate community and interdisciplinarity in ethical and accessible ways. Attendees can also register for online viewing.

2. UCLA AMG Annual Leadership Conference

The 2024 UCLA Administrative Management Group (AMG) Annual Conference is themed “Reimagining Leadership Today for a Better Tomorrow,” and will explore what it means to lead in a post-pandemic world. Keynote speakers and workshops are dedicated to tackling relevant leadership issues with innovative solutions: defining and solving solutions related to hybrid work, building empathy in the face of burnout and mental health concerns, and recruiting/retention of staff amid it all.

3. TEDxUCLA Salon - Intersections: Design & Music

Explore the intersection of design and music with Dr. Laura Ritchie and Lawrence Azerrad, a two-time Grammy Award winning creative director. The two will uncover opportunities for growth when it comes to enhancing our lived experiences through music. Speakers will also discuss the convergence between word and image, and between AI and traditional art.

4. Experian Identity Theft Protection Program

Starting April 1, 2024, all benefits-eligible UC employees will have access to Experian’s Identity Theft Protection Program, sponsored by the UC. You will be automatically enrolled but will need to take further action to set-up the majority of the program’s important features. The program offers:

  • Credit monitoring
  • Identity theft insurance and restoration services
  • Dark web and proactive monitoring
  • Device protection and online policy
  • Digital financial management
